“After our previous startup was acquired by one of our largest investors, my co-founders and I wanted to tackle a major pain point for Asian entrepreneurs: the lack of data and tools to find product-market fit.
We realized AI agents were the perfect solution to help companies truly understand their customers.
We started Preferences AI to build this essential technology with a simple mindset built in Asia, for Asia.”

“We recently signed a major Hong Kong-based international apparel brand to enhance their customer engagement.
After months of collaboration and a successful proof of concept, their board approved our digital simulation services to support their local and global expansion.

What Is One Lesson You Wish You’d Learned Earlier?
“I wish I had learned earlier to celebrate every victory, no matter how small.
As a founder, it is easy to get overwhelmed by the big tasks ahead as the goalposts keep moving. You need to acknowledge the small wins and be kind to yourself when things don’t go your way.
Entrepreneurship is a marathon, not a sprint, so you need to find ways to maintain momentum and keep your spirits up.”
How Do You Keep Your Energy Up On Tough Days?
“On tough days, I try to remind myself how far we’ve come.
As a founder, you spend so much time firefighting and just trying to keep your head above water. But when you step back and take stock of your progress, it’s incredible to see the growth.
Most importantly, I remember how grateful I am to be tackling difficult challenges alongside co-founders I trust completely. Surround yourself with people who always have your back.”
