What Does Your Company Do?
“Sky Realm leverages the underutilised airspace to solve urban congestion through its SkyDrop drone delivery service and UTM SaaS platform.
We provide an end-to-end solution integrating hardware and software to enable instant, greener, and safer on-demand deliveries. Our ecosystem automates flight paths to bypass road traffic, reducing delivery times by up to 75% while acting as an air traffic control system for drone operators.”
What Inspired You To Start It?
“We were driven by the realisation that roads are congested everywhere and the traditional delivery workforce faces critical shortages and safety risks.
We identified a massive gap in utilising the airspace above ground, which was completely untapped for on-demand logistics.
Inspired to create a “Greener” and “Safer” delivery model, we founded Sky Realm to bypass ground infrastructure entirely and revolutionize how goods move through urban environments.”
What Is One Win (big or small) You’re Celebrating Now?
“We are celebrating the successful completion of our MVP in SkyDrop drone delivery at the Universiti Sains Malaysia Engineering Campus.
Furthermore, our drone has achieved SIRIM certification for MCMC compliance, a critical regulatory hurdle. These milestones validate that our technical performance aligns with expectations, positioning us strongly for upcoming commercialisation and full CAAM certification.”
What Is One Lesson You Wish You Learned Earlier?
“Being a founder can feel super lonely and rough, especially when you’ve pitched a hundred times and only a couple of people say yes.
One killer piece of advice, it’s this... Get really good at spotting and connecting with that one person in the room who’s actually going to invest. Nailing this means you have to be a top-tier people reader.”
